Football World Cup: Mini-Bread-Cordon-Bleus

  • 3 eggs (size M)
  • 100 ml milk
  • 100 g breadcrumbs
  • clarified butter for frying


Do not bake the baguette, but cut directly into 17 slices about 2 cm thick. Cut a pocket in each slice.

Grate the Gouda and pluck the cooked ham into small pieces. Spread both on the bread pockets. Then pin each pocket with toothpicks.

Beat the eggs with the milk in a bowl and season with salt and pepper. First dip the breads into the egg milk and let them stand for a short time, then turn them all around in the breadcrumbs.

Melt 2 tablespoons of clarified butter in two frying pans. Fry the bread cordon bleus on both sides until golden brown and crispy.

Serve hot and enjoy.
