Mum's Me-Time Dessert

Ingredients


For 1 large dessert bowl:

  • 4 IBIS Mini Cakes Lemon
  • 75 g strawberries
  • 100 g cream
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 50 g marzipan paste
  • 1 drop of pink food colouring

Also:

  • 1 ice cream umbrella

Instruction

Crumble the Mini Cakes Lemon very finely. Wash the strawberries, pat dry and remove the green parts. Leave them whole or dice them, depending on their size.

Whip the cream with the vanilla sugar until stiff. Colour the marzipan paste with very little food colouring and roll it out thinly between some cling film. Cut a "bath towel" (approx. 5 cm long and 3 cm wide) from it. Press the rest of the marzipan through a clean garlic press and use it to form fringes for the towel.

Spread a quarter of the Mini Cakes crumbs on the bottom of the dessert bowl. Place the strawberries on top. Cover everything with cream and sprinkle the remaining crumbs on top to make it look like a beach. Put a little ice cream umbrella inside as a parasol, place the marzipan beach towel next to it and finish everything off with the little marzipan fringes. Present immediately!

Tip:
If you have a matching female Lego figure, you can of course place it on the towel. This makes everything look even more vivid and fun.
