Normal

Preparation time: 25 minutes

Serving size: 3-4

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 150ml milk
  • 1 pack IBIS Butterbrioche
  • 2 apples
  • 150g hazelnuts
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • preferred jam
  • 50g butter
  • 1 tablesoon cinnamon
  • 50g sugar
  • 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream

Instruction

For the filling: Wash the apples, remove the seeds and cut them into small cubes or crush them with a grater. Chop the hazelnuts into small pieces and roast them in a pan for about 5 minutes. Remove the roasted hazelnuts from the pan, add the apples, fry them briefly and then add the roasted hazelnuts again. Afterwards add a tablespoon of cinnamon and sugar and mix everything well together.

Now we need the IBIS Butter Brioche. Roll them flat with a rolling pin and add the apple-nut filling as desired. If you like, you can also spread the IBIS Butter Brioche with jam beforehand. Then roll up the IBIS Butter Brioche with the filling.

Now heat the butter in a pan. Meanwhile, mix the milk and eggs and dip the IBIS Butter Brioche in them. Then place the IBIS Butter Brioche in the pan and fry over medium heat for about 2-4 minutes until golden brown on both sides. In the meantime, mix the cinnamon and sugar together again and cover the finished IBIS Butter Brioche with it.

Have fun recreating our French toast!
