Preparation time: 25 minutes

Serving size: 4

Ingredients

Sauce:

  • 4 bananas, mashed
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2-3 onions, diced
  • 200 ml ketchup
  • 2 tsp chilli powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp Worcester sauce (soy sauce)
  • 120 g sugar, brown

Patties:

  • 500 g minced meat (beef or mixed)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves

Burger and toppings:

  • 4 brioche burger buns
  • 2 red onions
  • some lettuce leaves
  • 1 large tomato
  • 4 slices of cheese (as desired)
  • 4 slices of pineapple (can)

Instruction

Sauce: Let everything simmer slowly for approx. 10 minutes (sauce can also be stored in jars).
Burger: Mix the minced meat with the spices, divide into 4 pieces and form into patties.
Heat a frying pan over high heat and sear the patties on both sides for approx. 2 min. Then turn down the heat and put a lid on (turn again if necessary so that they don't burn until the heat in the pan has reduced a little). They need about 6-8 minutes on medium heat.
Set the oven to "grill" (approx. 200° C).
Wash the lettuce, chop the tomatoes and onions. Place the Brioche Burger Buns with the inside facing upwards on a grill rack or baking tray.
Now place the cheese on the patties and cover again.
