Trainee-Speed-Dating

The Aachen Chamber of Industry and Commerce organises an annual Trainee Speed Dating event together with the Aachen-Düren Employment Agency. At the apprentice speed dating, training companies and people interested in apprenticeships have 10 minutes to get to know each other and find out if they are a good match.
Of course, IBIS, the culinary explorer, will also be at the start when the doors open at the IHK Aachen on 28 February 2023 for all young people who are looking for a training place for 2023 or 2024.

What exactly can you expect at such a trainee speed dating event and how does it work?

You will receive appointment cards for your desired companies about 45 minutes before the event begins. Then you have ten minutes to convince a company of your qualities and skills. Take the opportunity to be invited to a recruitment test or a detailed interview.

How should you be prepared for these interviews?

• With a clear idea of what you want to do.
• with arguments as to why you have decided to do vocational training in this company
• with interest and motivation
• current application documents

If you are interested, you can find out about the training places on offer on the internet in advance and receive "interview tickets" on the day of the event itself. You will then go to the selected companies at the agreed time and have a ten-minute interview.
