IBIS GmbH among the elite for quality in the food industry

 
 
This year, the testing centre of the DLG (German Agricultural Society) gave accolades to 147 top companies in the baking and confectionery industry, based on their outstanding results in quality tests, at the “Preis der Besten” ("Prize for the Best") award ceremony. The award took place on the 22nd September as part of the DLG Food Days in Darmstadt.
 
With the “Preis der Besten” award, the DLG promotes sustained quality strategies in the food industry, while offering manufacturers an opportunity to profile and position themselves as credible market leaders in terms of quality. “Companies and products that want to play a central role as consumers’ favourites over many years must always come up to the current demands of the market in terms of their quality standards. Sustainability is a steadily growing global trend which is already followed by around 23% of consumers in Europe, and as many as 30% in the USA", said DLG President Carl-Albrecht Bartmer at the certificate award ceremony.

"Companies which are awarded the "Preis der Besten" have earned this prestigious accolade through many years of consistent focus on quality. It allows them to maintain their competitive edge in terms of quality and consumer confidence, and to highlight once more the high quality standards of their food products", said the DLG President.
 
The "Preis der Besten" is only awarded to companies who have achieved outstanding results in the DLG quality tests on an annual basis. Once again this year, IBIS GmbH won a silver "Preis der Besten", meaning that for over ten years now, the company has given proof of its quality achievements through awards at the annual DLG quality tests.
 
"Our quality management is not only geared towards maintaining proven processes, but also aims to keep developing and improving on a daily basis. Our customers can therefore always rely on proven IBIS quality in terms of taste and freshness", commented IBIS Managing Director Udo Dietlin after the award ceremony.
